Charity shop find: Bumper bag of yarn!

I'm not a knitter, nor a crocheter. However my eyes lit up when I spied this bag of yarn in my favourite charity shop a few weeks ago.

At only £1.00 it was a bargain too good to miss!

I don't know very much about wool, but I can see some of it is tapestry yarn. Some appears to leftovers from the previous owners projects wound into balls, and the remainder is a tangled mess. I'm going to have some fun unravelling it later today!

So if I don't knit, why did I buy it? Well, I can use it with my French knitting spool (or Knitting Nancy if you prefer), and it's just the ticket for practising on a cool little retro craft gadget I picked up in another charity shop a couple of weeks ago (more on that in a future post).

I hope you enjoyed the first post in my charity shop finds series. Keep tuned for more!
